BINGO prize
A while ago, I won a bingo game held on crochetsocks, but had not received my prize. I contacted the hostess, and havent heard anything from her about the package, so contacted the list mom...and she sent out a parcel to me. It was beautiful, 2 balls of blue/d.blue/light blue and white yarn, a packet of crystallite hooks, a nail set, mirror, a beautiful attachment to add to my bag or phone, and stencil, and not to forget a crochet magazine. I am so excited that I cannot wait to find some projects to make.
FINDS
Yesterday, as I was looking in a charity store, I came across a few balls of wool and some other crochet WIMs, I brought 2 bags of the items that were there, I could have brought more, but I dont think that my husband would be too thrilled with me with buying more wool...lol
With one of the bags i brought, it contained a ball of green yarn, and the makings of an afghan. I think that I will change it a bit and make it into a rectangle shawl and crochet some flowers and attach it to the ends it. It should look really nice.
I havent looked at the other bag, but I know it contains 8 balls of wool and a few knit items (finished back and 2 1/2 sleeves, I will see what it looks like and might a)frog it all, or b)create my own jumper from it for my husband with a mixture of crochet and knit...knit back and crochet front, but would have to see what the sleeves were like, I might even make a vest from it for my husband. It will all depend on the size of the item.

Keep him walking...
This man is walking the World for Peace. Please pass him on so that he can rea ch his destination.
Say a prayer for everyone in Iraq, then pass him on to others.
This is really interesting how someone did this. He's walking around the world -- via e-mail! Pass it on so he can get there!
its a nice idea to be walking around the world via email...but will it really bring world peace?

Kemberlee Socks Finished
I completed my Kemberlee socks off today. I did this as part of a crochet a long on crochetsocks (a yahoo group). I really enjoyed making my first pair of socks. I will be giving them to my mother as a Christmas present. She was the model for them as well, and they fit her well. She likes the colour as well. Her only problem with them is that they seem a little loose in the ribbed section but apart from that they are perfect.

Criminal Minds
I just took a quiz on the Criminal Minds website...I scored 28 out of 30! It said "You seem to possess an innate understanding of just how unpredictable huamn nature truly is. Your intellectual curiosity, open-mindedness, and empathy towards others single you out as a strong candidate for cracking into the minds of others!"
I really should get back into psychology!

must go back to this site
While surfing and googling I came across a site that shows you how to sew a tote. So I must go back to it...I want to learn to sew.
Son's pullover
About a month ago, my mother, father and myself were in Warwick shopping, on one of those rare days when we are all free to go together into town. Dad was in Big W and he heard that there was a red light special on yarn for 50c a ball. So he went and grabbed a bag full for me, and then came out to find me and told me about it. I did the same and grabbed a bag full of Shaun Sheep yarn. We had a few balls of Alice Sunset and Beauty. I used the Alice Sunset to make this pullover for my son. I didnt use any patterns for it, but it turned out fine for him, a little big, but since we are in Spring/Summer at the moment, he will grow into it. It is nice and thick too, so it will keep him warm during the colder seasons.
